About your guide
It started with one boy
who couldn't read — my son.

The story
I've sat on your side of the table.
I know what it feels like to watch a bright, funny, kind child come home from school smaller than he left. To hear words like "lazy" and "slow" used about a boy who simply learns differently. That was my son — and that heartbreak is why Abloom Learning exists.
I went looking for answers the way only a mother can: a Masters in Educational Psychology, deep training in Montessori practice, and structured dyslexia intervention. What I found became a method. Over fifteen years I've taught more than a hundred children aged 4–12 — only a few of them dyslexic or neurodiverse, but for each of those few, what worked for my own son has worked for them too.
My mission is simple: to help children move beyond labels, uncover the gifts within them, and bloom into confident, capable, compassionate human beings — and to help parents truly understand and nurture their child's potential.
How Lishaan learns
Five everyday moments of the method, in his own words

Blending sounds
Lishaan selects colour-coded letters from the Montessori Large Moveable Alphabet, sounding out each letter by touch and sight, then blends them into three-letter words like red, peg, and pin — and reinforces each word by writing it out on paper.
Decoding word families
Working with the "ai" vowel digraph, Lishaan uses visual charts and multisensory writing to decode word families like sail, rain, and strain — building phonological awareness one sound pattern at a time.

Building compound words
Matching standalone word cards, Lishaan combines butter + fly, cup + cake, and nut + shell — breaking bigger, trickier words into small, meaningful pieces he can decode and spell with confidence.
Playing with grammar
Using the Montessori Grammar Box, Lishaan arranges colour-coded parts of speech — blue articles, black nouns, pink verbs — turning abstract grammar into a puzzle-like game and building playful sentences like "The silly frog jumps on…"

Blossoming at his own pace
Mild dyslexia simply means Lishaan's brain is wired uniquely. By grounding his phonics in hands-on work first, his visual and spatial strengths naturally bridged the gap to storybooks — proof that every mind blossoms in its own time.
Why parents trust Milan
Experience you can lean on
Certified Dyslexia Coach — certification in progress. Of the 100+ children Milan has taught over 15 years, only a small number have been children with dyslexia or other learning differences — but each was guided with the same structured, multisensory method that helped her own son. Real case studies carry the trust a certificate alone never could.
The Abloom way
Follow the child. Structure the learning.
An individual profile, not a fixed syllabus
Every child gets an Individual Learning Plan built around how they learn — their pace, their interests, their strengths.
Multisensory by design
See it, hear it, touch it, move through it. Montessori materials turn abstract letters and sounds into things a child's hands can understand.
Confidence before performance
Skills are broken into small, achievable steps so a child is never overwhelmed — and every session ends with a win.
Structured literacy, proven order
Phonological awareness, then phonics, fluency, spelling, and writing. The sequence research says dyslexic learners need.
Stories, songs & play
Storytelling, rhythm, rhyme, and games make practice something children ask for instead of avoid.
Parents as partners
You're guided at every step with parent support materials, so progress continues at home — long after the session ends.
