Success stories

Children everyone else
had given up on — blooming.

Real children, real journeys. Names withheld and details shared with families' permission.

Featured journey

The boy who stopped going to school

Before

Diagnosed with dyslexia and speech delay at 6, but without structured support he faced years of academic pressure, bullying, and labels — until, in secondary school, he withdrew from school completely.

The work

Confidence first. Gentle emotional support, structured reading intervention, and learning personalised around his own interests — so lessons became a safe place before they became a demanding one.

After

He rediscovered his strengths, rebuilt his self-belief, and — the moment his mother had stopped daring to hope for — walked back through the school gate, resuming his schooling with real motivation.

Another journey

"Hyperactive, disruptive, lazy" — until someone taught him his way.

Diagnosed with mild dyslexia at 7, this boy struggled the moment he entered primary school. Copying from the board was slow, reading was halting, and the labels piled up. Without support at school, his confidence slid year by year.

With structured, personalised sessions, he began improving step by step. Within months he was reading word by word with growing confidence and completing his class notes independently — and the "disruptive" label quietly disappeared with the frustration that caused it.

A real, recent journey

Struggling to hold a pencil at 4 — writing with confidence today.

This student came to Abloom neurodiverse and struggling with the most basic first step: holding a pencil. Through patient, structured, play-based sessions, he built the fine motor control and confidence to write independently — and became one of Ms. Milan's favourite success stories to tell.

What families see

The changes parents report

Reading confidence

Children who hid from books begin reading aloud — fluently, and by choice.

Calmer homes

Less frustration and emotional resistance at homework time.

Independence

Reading and writing without an adult hovering — at Abloom and at school.

Focus & behaviour

Better attention and classroom behaviour, as struggle stops masquerading as "naughtiness."

What parents tell us

Less frustration at home. More reading out loud.

Ms. Milan was my son's favourite teacher when he was in kindergarten. Ms. Milan is a kind and compassionate teacher. She is patient and very good with kids. I'm blessed to have her educating my son.
